ENA’s hit drama “Salon De Holmes” has officially confirmed production for a second season, affirming the show’s growing popularity among viewers and its strong finale ratings. The production team announced on July 16 that Season 2 is in active development, setting the stage for the return of the celebrated “Zoomvengers” quartet.

Season 1 Success and Legacy

The first season of Salon De Holmes wrapped up on July 15 with its highest-ever viewership rating of 4.6%, underscoring the strength of its comedic action formula and unique cast chemistry. The series quickly distinguished itself as a standout in the crowded K-drama landscape, blending comedy, mystery, and action through the lives of four determined women who work together to rid their apartment complex of unsavory elements.

Returning Team and Cast Developments

Director Min Jin Ki, who helmed the breakout first season, is officially back for Season 2.The original main cast—Lee Si Young (Gong Mi Ri, the sharp amateur sleuth), Jung Young Joo (the former ace detective Chu Kyung Ja), Kim Dasom (part-time job expert Park So Hee), and Nam Ki Ae (insurance queen Jeon Ji Hyun)—are all reportedly in positive talks about reprising their beloved roles, though final confirmations are pending.

One point of particular interest surrounds Lee Si Young’s return: the actress is currently expecting her second child, making her shooting schedule a topic of much discussion. Fellow cast member Jung Young Joo humorously noted that Lee Si Young is “the kind of person who would show up even heavily pregnant” and expressed confidence that timing could work out for the actress to participate.

What to Expect From Season 2

Although details around filming schedules and storylines remain under wraps, the announcement builds on the momentum of Salon De Holmes’ finale and the public’s demand for more.

The drama’s success was propelled by its:

  • Unique premise: Four diverse women with specialized skills team up to solve mysteries and challenge villains in their neighborhood.

  • Genre-blending: Mixing heartfelt camaraderie, real societal issues, and suspenseful cases.

  • Fan engagement: Viewers responded enthusiastically to the “Zoomvengers” team chemistry, driving social media buzz and calls for further seasons.

Moving Forward

Script development and official casting will be solidified in the coming weeks, with the creative team already laying the groundwork for a fresh season. As production gears up, anticipation is high for another round of dynamic storytelling, led by its memorable ensemble and director Min Jin Ki.

Fans can expect more updates soon as “Salon De Holmes” prepares to bring its celebrated mix of laughter, tension, and female-driven detective drama back to screens.
