If you believe material on FlauntWeekly.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing all of the following information:

  1. Signature – Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work – Title, type of work (e.g., text, image, video), publication date, and registration or unique identifier if available.

  3. Location of the allegedly infringing material – Exact URL(s) on FlauntWeekly.com where the material appears (with section names, headlines, timestamps, or screenshots for clarity).

  4. Your contact information – Full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. Good-faith statement – > “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

  6. Accuracy & authority statement – > “I swear under penalty of perjury that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.”

After Receiving a Notice

  • We promptly remove or disable access to the identified material.

  • We notify the uploader or content provider about the claim.

  • We apply our repeat-infringer policy where appropriate.

  • We accommodate standard technical measures used by rights holders to identify or protect their works.

3) Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed)

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  1. Your signature – Physical or electronic.

  2. Identification of the removed material – Specify what was removed and the precise URL where it appeared before removal.

  3. Good-faith statement – > “I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.”

  4. Your contact information – Full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. Consent to jurisdiction and service of process – > “I consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for my judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., for the District where Flaunt Weekly LLC is located) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.”

For our location, the relevant court is the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.

After Receiving a Valid Counter-Notice

  • We forward your counter-notice to the original complainant.

  • The content will be restored after at least 10 business days, unless we receive proof that the complainant has filed a court action to prevent restoration.

4) Repeat-Infringer Policy

Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Flaunt Weekly maintains a policy of terminating or restricting accounts of repeat infringers under appropriate circumstances.
We may also remove content that we reasonably believe violates copyright or our Terms of Use.

5) Fair Use, Licensing & Editorial Context

As an entertainment-news organization, we frequently use images, video clips, and quotations for reporting, commentary, criticism, and analysis that may qualify as fair use or be licensed from rights holders or agencies.

If you are unsure whether a use is authorized or constitutes fair use, please consider this before filing a notice.
Rights-management representatives (e.g., labels, studios, photo agencies) should identify any license conflicts or territorial restrictions to help us resolve claims quickly.

6) Avoiding Misuse (17 U.S.C. § 512(f))

Knowingly submitting false infringement notices or counter-notices can result in legal liability, including damages and attorney’s fees.
Please ensure all claims are accurate and made in good faith.

7) Helpful Tips to Speed Up Review

  • Use a separate email for each distinct work or campaign when possible.

  • List one URL per line under “Location of the allegedly infringing material.”

  • Include supporting documentation (registration certificates, comparison images, license agreements, etc.) if available.

  • Use clear subject lines: “DMCA Notice” or “DMCA Counter-Notice.”
