South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha dies from cancer at 31

South Korea’s entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Kang Seo-ha, the acclaimed actress who passed away at the age of 31 following a prolonged battle with stomach cancer. Known for her heartfelt performances in popular dramas and films, Kang’s untimely death has left fans and colleagues across Asia in deep sorrow.

A Life and Career Cut Short

Born Kang Ye-won on June 13, 1994, in Busan, Kang Seo-ha harbored a passion for acting from a young age. She graduated from the prestigious Korea National University of Arts, majoring in drama, which paved the way for her triumphant entry into the entertainment world.

Kang’s early career began with her appearance in the 2012 music video for Brave Guys’ “Getting Farther Away,” followed by her official acting debut in 2014 as a supporting cast member in JTBC’s “Seonam Girls’ High School Investigators.” Over the next decade, she established herself with dynamic roles in:
