Production Completes on ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 3 in Seoul as Three Join the Cast

The beloved Netflix spinoff series XO, Kitty is gearing up for its highly anticipated third season, and fans have reason to celebrate: production has officially wrapped in Seoul, South Korea, and several exciting additions to the cast have been announced.

Production Wraps in Seoul

Following the show’s tradition of vibrant on-location shoots, the production team and cast returned to Seoul, bringing the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) to life for another season full of romantic twists and heartfelt moments. The wrap marks another milestone for the series, promising viewers a new chapter filled with both familiar faces and fresh storylines.

New Faces Joining Season 3

Three new cast members have been confirmed:

  • Sule Thelwell (Saint X) joins as Marius, a primary cast member whose storyline is being kept under wraps but is said to be central to the new season’s drama.

  • Soy Kim (Like a French Film, Sorry Not Sorry) takes the role of Yisoo, appearing as a recurring guest star.

  • Christine Hwang (Law & Order: SVU) steps in as Gigi, also in a recurring role.

In addition, Hojo Shin, who plays Jiwon, has been promoted from recurring character to series regular for season three.

  • Gia Kim as Yuri

  • Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho

  • Philippe Lee as Mr. Moon

  • Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison

  • Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee

  • Sasha Bhasin as Praveena

  • Joshua Lee as Jin

  • Han Bi Ryu as Eunice

  • Sunny Oh as Mihee.

New Showrunner

Season 3 will also see a change behind the scenes, with Valentina Garza stepping in as the new showrunner, succeeding Jessica O’Toole. Series creator Jenny Han continues as executive producer, alongside Matt Kaplan and Bradley Gardner. Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment remain at the helm of production.

What to Expect in Season 3

While plot details are still under wraps, the cliffhanger at the end of season two set the stage for Kitty’s senior year and more emotional discoveries. Kitty’s journey will continue to focus on friendship, identity, and, of course, romance. The addition of new faces like Marius, Yisoo, and Gigi suggests that changes are ahead at KISS, and fans can look forward to seeing how these characters impact Kitty’s world.

Netflix has not yet revealed a premiere date for XO, Kitty Season 3, but with production now complete, updates are expected soon.
