South Korean travel YouTuber Kwak Joon-bin (33), better known as KwakTube, has shared some big news with his fans. In a video released on August 13, 2025, the popular creator confirmed that he is in a relationship — and even revealed that marriage may not be too far away.

Opening Up About His Relationship

During a Q&A segment in his video “Strange 3 Nights 4 Days Thai Eating Tour,” KwakTube answered a question about his relationship status. He surprised viewers by saying:

“I currently have a girlfriend. She’s a non-celebrity I met through an acquaintance.”

For longtime followers, this was a rare glimpse into his personal life. Until now, KwakTube has focused almost entirely on travel adventures and lighthearted entertainment, rarely sharing private matters.

The conversation quickly turned to whether he was considering marriage. His candid reply —

“I’m thinking about it, too.”

— immediately caught attention, signalling that his relationship is a meaningful one.

Agency Responds

Following the revelation, his agency SM C&C admitted it had not been aware of his decision to go public. The company said it was verifying the details, emphasizing that the news came directly from KwakTube himself rather than through an official agency announcement.

Fans Show Support

The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive. Social media has been filled with congratulatory messages, with many praising him for being open and genuine. Some expressed excitement at the possibility of wedding news in the future, while others admired his choice to date someone outside the celebrity world.

More Than Just a YouTuber

KwakTube is widely loved for his adventurous travel vlogs, where he explores hidden spots around the world with humour and authenticity. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation not only as a content creator but also as a relatable personality who connects easily with viewers.

Born in Busan on February 2, 1992, Kwak majored in Russian at Busan University of Foreign Studies, studying abroad in both Russia and Ireland before becoming a full-time creator. Coming from a modest background — his father was a truck driver and his mother worked in a market — he grew into one of South Korea’s most recognizable travel YouTubers.

Today, his channel boasts over 2 million subscribers and more than 550 million views, achievements that underline his influence beyond straightforward travel content.

A Creator Who Connects

By sharing this personal update, KwakTube reminded fans why they feel such a close bond with him — his honesty, humility, and openness. Whether he’s trekking through hidden corners of the world or answering deeply personal questions, KwakTube continues to inspire with both his content and his character.
