DMCA Counter-Notification Procedure

If you are the provider of content that has been removed or disabled on PopTopNews.com due to a copyright claim, you have the legal right to submit a counter-notification under Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA.

Process After Receiving a Counter-Notification

Once we receive a valid counter-notification:

  • We will forward it to the person who submitted the original infringement claim.

  • We will notify them that the removed material will be restored within 10 to 14 business days unless they provide proof of having filed a court action to prevent further infringement.

  • If no such legal action is reported within that timeframe, the material will be restored on PopTopNews.com.


Policy on Repeat Infringers

Consistent with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA, PopTopNews.com maintains a policy of disabling or terminating accounts of contributors who are found to be repeat infringers under appropriate circumstances.
